Default Testing wiper motor, stalk, board.

After reading through all the threads about wiper issues, I am still wondering where my problem lies. At first they seemed to have a mind of their own- starting by themselves, not going to park, then coming on by themselves. Right now they only work on high.

Here are the test results at the plug.

Off- power at B
Int- power at B,D,E
Low- power at B,D,E
High- power at B,C,D,E

I am usually ok with schematics but can't make this one out exactly. If someone can tell me what these results mean it would help big time.

Also everything is dry inside motor and circuit board and the contacts inside are not corroded. Thanks!

I've not looked up the pinouts on the connector. But by virtue of the fact you say yours comes on by itself (as mine did), that tells me its' not the switch and just swap out the wiper motor and be done with it. Do a proper setup when reattaching. My instructions that came with the motor were off a few degrees. Applying some common sense and mechanical understanding has them perfect.

Bet you a COLD ONE that your wiper motor is partly SUBMERGED in nasty slime water down inside the windshield cowl because your cowl drain udders are clogged. Seen this issue TOOOOOO many times to count!

Last time my wipers didn't work, I cleaned the udders and dried everything out. Since then I check that frequently. This time I really think it's the circuit board at the wipers which I guess comes as an assembly with the wiper motor. It was not submerged today, (when it worked fine last night) but it did rain overnight and now it's back to just high operation only.

I did not try the heat gun/wd40 procedure. Here's the thing- when I get it dried out and wd40'd, how do I seal it up? It did not have water collecting in there this time, just a rain and I did not drive it. I took it apart again today, no water pooled in there, just wet in the bottom. Can I just get a new circuit board? Bill, you seem to be the man when it comes to electrical issues. When you have time I'd like to tell you about my brake lights/cruise/running lights/turn signals. Thanks for the info!
