Default Who makes Rocker Arm Studs for the LS engine?

Hi Everyone,
I have searched and can't find anything on using studs on the rocker arms on the LS7 heads. I Have had to remove my rockers a few times and I worry about the aluminum head stripping. I have Yella Terra's on it.
Thanks for any advice!

Have you talked to ARP?
I bet they could make you some along with a custom nut that works perfect with the YT rockers. Shoot, they might even consider making it a product.

When I did all of my valvetrain setup work, I used some Olds Quad 4 intake manifold studs and nuts. Not good enough for actually running the engine, but made assembly and disassembly easy especially when setting up pushrod length.

Most of the studs I have seen are for stud mounted rockers. Crane and I believe Comp makes them. Not sure if the length will work correctly, but the bottom is the 8X1.25mm and the top is a SAE thread.

I used to run the Crane rockers and found that whenever I removed the top lock nut the stud would still back out and this was with using red Loctite. If this occurs, I am not sure you will resolve the problem of not running the threads in and out.

A better solution may just be to ensure you follow the correct procedure for the rockers being used, which for GM would be one procedure and for Yella Terra another, although the Yella Terra method of one cylinder at a time with the lifters on the base circle would also work for the GM rockers.

I'm not 100% sure yet but it looks like the small ARP head studs might be the correct size? Anyone ever try them?

Thanks!
