From there, purchase the right ones, and be done with this.

Just find another C5 ('01-'04) and program yours with their sensors. If you park next to them it will be close enough to try out. This will tell you if your system is working.

I did the same thing with my '99. I used the wheels on another '99 and found it programmed correctly so I knew it was my sensors that were bad.

Hi Sbulla:

What ever happened with your Orange Electronic sensors? Just found your post.. I had new tires and [Orange Electronic] tpms sensors on my 2004 convertible .. installed by a well known "tire place". I cannot get the sensors to retrain either. Tried many different magnets, positioning of said magnets, and even tried bringing pressure down to 8lbs. .. no beep.. Do not really want to have them pull run-flats back off the rims though. Ironically, I gave the tech the GM part number, and wound up with these things.. and only found out later ( My wife brought the car in and picked up) What did you finally do? Thanks.

I finally had to break down the tires and replace them with some schrader tpms and returned the orange units back to the supplier. The schraders worked the first time.

Good luck,
Sonny
