My tuners says I should get larger injectors . I have a 01 6spd with varraram ported throttle body, lg long tubes no cats x pipe and TI s . My injectors are running at 84% at 5950 rpms . With a old tune prior to headers I made 330hp. We did a base after headers and have 376hp 390 torque. Now it's time to tune hp tuners with wide band. Should I buy injectors now or just tune what I have. And what kind and size.
I like to keep my IDC close to 75-80%. However, I personally like going with a 42-60 lb/hr injector for bolt on/cam/head/mild boost. Just make sure when purchasing the injectors that you get a flow-matched set with all the tuning data. I've also been told, from my tuner, that tuning drivability can be difficult if the injectors are too large for the power being made.
As far as injectors go I like Siemens, Racetronix, and FAST .
Since your NA, you'll be fine with a set Ford Red Tops. They are 30lbs on Fords but at our higher fuel rail pressures they are more like 36lbs. I ran them with my H/C 346 that made 460 to the wheels. FWIW: I run Ford Green Tops (42lbs on Fords - 47-48 on the vette) on my 577RWHP 427 and they work great.

100% Good data. I too run the 42 on my 02 Z heads, cam, fast 90 set up.
You will be good with the red tops BUT,, don't install them until you ready to tune. Without adjusting the tune for them, your will be extremely rich.
The new larger injectors most likely wont increase your HP. It will just make them more reliable and efficient.
