Default Anything underseats

Its been a while since my seats have been out, so I don't recall, but is there anything under the seats in a Z06 at all? I'm talking any electronics or wiring under the carpet. I need to drill into the floor boards right under the seats from under the car and want to be sure I don't hit anything. Screws would be about 3/4" tops, so I''m only worried about anything under the carpet, not the seat track motors or any of that, plus the seats are aftermarket, so no more motors.

I believe there is wiring running under the carpet. It is easy to remove the seats, I'd do that before drilling in there. Sorta like the signs that say "call before you dig"!

The wiring comes up to the seats through the center location under the seat. There's an opening in the carpet (obviously). Where they come from though I don't recall. It sorta makes sense that they'd come from the center console / drive tunnel area, but, it would pay to look first.

Murphy's law says,, if you dont look you will find something with the drill bit!!

Make sure that you seal the hole up with some sort of sealer. Theres balsa wood between the floor panels and it will rot if it get wet.

I found 35 cents under mine.....sorry, couldn't resist!
The seat comes out in about 10 minutes, why not just remove it?
I'm curious what you are mounting on the underside of the car.......
