NewVettlover: Thank you. I am glad you liked the pics on the site. The computer industry has a pretty wide spectrum that it covers. I am sure you will do great in whatever area you choose.
NoMercy: Thanks. I can't wait to get them installed. Did you get a chance to do any high speed stops with them? Hmmm.. Since you have alot of mod red on your Z, these red calipers would look killer on your car, especially under those HRE wheels. :)
EUG: Thanks. I love the kit. I just wanted the calipers to stand out a little more than the regular black ones. I guess I have been used to the look of the "Big Reds" on the 993 Turbo. :)
You bet I'll be doing some comparison stops. One of the first things I did in my 993 Turbo was take it to a deserted road. Brought it up to 150km/h and stood on the brakes with both feet. That sucker stopped (and I mean dead stopped) in what felt like 2 secs and there is zero nose dive.
But, it won't be a truly fair comparison until after I get my DRM coilovers installed. The stock shocks/suspension in the Corvette gives too much nose-dive under heavy braking.
