It never ends with this thing....

The epic struggle to get the 1 7/8 kooks out of my car to have them ceramic coated, took a turn for the worse today. Unscrewed the oil filter for clearance, and when I looked in the pan, the oil had a streaky look to it. That oil was changed a few hundred miles ago. I'm guessing coolant, but I'm not 100% sure. After an hour, the streaks were gone in the pan? Maybe it was just condensation? IDK, I'll send some out to be analyzed and post what I find out.

BTW, these headers are a freaking nightmare to get out

yes they are a pita to install and remove. most have to lift the motor a little to get them installed. good luck with your oil analyst .

If it's cold and damp, condensation will get in the oil. As long as the analysis isn't real expensive, go for it. But I doubt it's an issue.

Not sure I would trust a sample taken from what drained either. Is the filler cap or dipstick got condensation on it?

The dipstick looked fine, the valve covers have been off for a week or so
