Default Header/exhaust setup

Ok so I placed the order and installation starts Monday. I went with the Borla long tube headers, borla X pipe and borla axle back performance exhaust. I also am putting on the BBK cold air intake. I wanted to get some feedback on my decision weather you agree or disagree. Also, is anyone else running this kit or recommended a different intake. It's not too late.

And I also would like to get the program tuner so what are your recommendations??

BBK is not known for making the most HP over the other brands---Their sales strength comes from the stronger aluminum construction which is desirable for boosted applications or for polishing ability and looks--

Take a look at this LS intake test---I believe the Wiend is the same as BBK

Depending on your car's cubes and projected hi RPM range the larger manifolds only make more power when the engine is big or run above 6400
Otherwise the LS6 intake is a great choice on a stock cubed apprx 6200 RPM range use

Yeah, I ordered the bbk cold air intake, not the manifold. Does the different brands make much of a difference?

I also don't want an intake known for sucking up any water. I'm sure I will occasionally get caught in the rain though I don't intend to.

I have a VARARAM and have driven in severe rain storms without issue. The ONLY time you have a water ingestion issue is if you drive through deep standing water.

Are you asking about a hand held tuning device or a specific TUNING COMPANY (TUNER)

Most of the hand held tuning devices allow limited program changes. They mainly help A4 transmission C5s.

Thanks. I am looking for guidance on this one. My best benefit would be to have it professionally tuned, right? Back to my initial question about the bbk cold air intake. Is that fine?
