Default Stinger install

Just got back from a muffler shop. I wanted them to install a Stinger system on my Z06 and they said the only way to get the stock mufflers off was to cut them. I want them left intact. Do you have to drop the rear suspension to get the stock mufflers off without cutting? At the price GM wants for TI mufflers, there's no way I'm going to cut them.

You don't have to cut them, just unbolt the 2 bolts on each side of the rear sway bar and rotate it down. The exhaust will come right out after you do this.

Can this be done on jack stands or does the car need to be on a lift? In other words, do you need alot of vertical clearance to manuever the mufflers? Thanks

To clear the exhaust swinging down without cutting, you need at least 3 feet of under-car clearance.
