Wheel Squeak
What could cause a squeaking sound coming from the front wheel area? The squeaking sound has something to do with the rotation of the wheel because it speeds up the faster I go. My car has a little over 85k on it and as far as I know has never had the hub assembly changed. It doesn't sound like the typical brake squeak so I'm leaning more toward the cause being something other than the brakes. Whatever is causing it is driving me nuts; it's like the Chinese water torture done Corvette-style.
Edit- Now that I think about it the squeak is also present when the brakes are engaged.

Jack up one wheel and see if you can get it to make noise just by rotating it by hand on the jack stand. Also pull /push the wheel at the top and bottom of the wheel and see if you have any excessive play. A good bearing will have little or no play.
