For extra insurance get the c5r. I've heard of guys breaking the ls2.

A bit more pricey, but Cloyes makes a great single roller timing chain set that fits perfectly behind the timing cover and comes with the C5R chain. Ive heard bad things about the LS2 chain. Allot of breakage issues.

Check out Katech engines for the C5R chain itself

Best advice ever... The C5r chain is the best out there period.. It will not break or stretch... The Ls2 chains have been known to break. The C5r chains are around $140-$150.. It will be money well spent
