loosing power! HELP!!!
I could use some help on this one. I have been experiencing the problem from hell. The car acts like it is loosing power from either the battery or alternator, but I have replaced both. When I start the car, the car starts fine, no problem. As the car runs, the car starts to act like it has a huge mis. I just got through checking the fuel pressure and it stays above 50; around 58 to 60 @ idle and did not vary much. The car did not start out dying out, now it does. The battery connections are not rusty or cruddy. The car shows a misfire code but i cannot detect it with the equipment I have. Anybody had this issue and found a solution to my fresh hell. I will take any suggestions,.

You need to get the codes scanned for the misfires---A P0300 is a random misfire however most scanners will tell you which cylinders are misfiring and you can track it down from that --Also if you are getting multiple misfires all on one bank right or left could be the coil pigtail on that side has become fouled or wires burnt thru--Most auto parts store will read codes for free--

No, I'm not using the dic, im using the superchips tuner to read the codes; it will only read if the car is off . It said multiple misfires. God, I dont know whats worse, a coil tail, or several coils croaking. I'll throw the tuner back on the car tomorrow and see what the codes were. The pulleys just recently started making a squeeking noise and then this problem hit, made me wander if it was connected but i doubt it thanks for any info.
