MAke SURE that female pins are not spread apart or deformed.
Find the Hot in RUN & Start fuses for the EBTCM and measure the supply voltage from the tests points on top of the fuse to chassis ground. Must be the same as battery voltage measured directly on the battery terminals.
Check Ground points G-101 and G-104/108. Make SURE that they are 100% clean and tight
I have see FOUR EBTCMs that error out at specific vehicle speeds.
Mine would fail at 42 mph. A buddy in Boston would fail at 102. If,,,,,,,, you check the harness female pins and the ignition voltages at the EBTCM fuses (there are three fuses) and every thing checks out SAT,,, you will need a new EBTCM to correct the issue.
If nothing external is wrong, the Microprocessor inside the EBTCM is defective.

,,,,,,,,,,,, I'm sorry to say,,, to fix it,, you will need a NEW EBTCM. Thats the same problem that I had and the bad component/part is inside the microprocessor (NOT REPAIRABLE) Its a LOGIC error.
Unless you do a LOT of high speed driving, you may be able to just live with it.
