F45 Delete Questions (2001)
Sorry to rehash a topic that has been discussed at length, but after searching and reading numerous threads I have a basic question...
When do you unplug the Electronic Suspension Control (ESC) module (wiring harness in the rear) ?
Before deleting the F45 option with a Tech-II or after deleting the option
I have read several different things, and I am just trying to get it straight.
Also from what I understand they key should be in the "on" position whilde deleting the option correct?

I AGREE and N E V E R plug the ESC box back in or you will have to reprogram the RPO out of the BCM again!I had a BCM issue in my 98 Coupe with F-45. I used my 02 ZO6 BCM to see if a new BCM would correct the issue. It didnt because the 02 BCM isnt compatable with the 98 but, it caused my 02 ZO6 (under warranty) to have the F-45 RPO Code.
The Z was under warrenty and you should have seen the tech scratching his head trying to figure out how a ZO6 had F-45 out of the clear blue!
