Default Question on head light cover?

I had my headlight motor replaced--Maybe it was like this before but the cover is off-gap wise with the fender to hood and front bumper cover--my question is when he took the cover off doesn't it go back on exactly as taken off -He made no other adjustments- Thx

Every part when removed from a car will bolt back on perfectly.

there is some "play" in the slots of the cover's mounting taps ( there are 3 tabs- back and each side) that allows for some adjustment of the fit.
Remove the black plastic surround ( 3 screws) to access the mounting tabs. loosen the 4 screws that hold the cover in place and adjust the cover's position.
A piece of cake.

Thx but those tabs just allow up and down--I need to move from side to side-to make even gaps around hood and front bumper cover-

So your saying with NO adjustments to every part--they will go back on the same position as they came off?
