So I've searched on brakes and just want to ask you guys myself.
I'm looking to replace my rotors and pads soon and just wanted to ask what are some good rotors and pads to buy that are priced fair? I know the more you spend the better quality you get but I don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a brake job and I'm pretty sure I don't have to.
I don't track my car but I like to take it to the Tennessee and Carolina mountains a few times a year for "spirited" driving and some local back roads as well.
So what do you guys use or recommend and throw some photos up too if you have any...

Reason: add
If you keep running the stock set up (rotors/calipers/Z06 pads) you'll be fine. For street and spirited driving there is no need to change anything. If you're tracking, then you'll look at making some type of change. Don't believe the hype/ads.
The one place you don't want to save weight on your car is with rotors. Don't buy the cheap Chinese made rotors that skimp on steel, but the more expensive Chinese made rotors that have as least as much steel as OEM.
For a quality brake pad check out the Carbotech 1521 compound and for rotors I would get some premium centric blank rotors I think there about $50.00 a piece. The 1521 pads are $148 front and $128 rear less 5% forum pricing. Let me know if I can help you orders for the pads can be placed directly through me.
The Carbotech™ 1521™ is our high performance street compound. The 1521™ compound is known for its release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. 1521™ is also a very low dusting and low noise compound with an excellent initial bite. This compound's excellent linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Carbotech™ 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 800°F (426°C+). 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle or fleet vehicle. Carbotech™ 1521™ is NOT recommended for ANY track use.

This is the company I bought my rotors & pads from. They work better than stock, look better than stock, and are sold at a relatively low price. No, they're not the best, but they're far from the worst either. See for yourself:
As far as I'm concerned, Brakemotive rocks for a budget performance and visual appeal upgrade, and does so for all four corners, rotors and ceramic pads, for under $200.
