Vibrating at 70-80 MPH
Thanks in advance.
Thanks everyone!!!
Checked for missing weights, all front end components, alignment, couldn't figure it out.
Finally on suggestion of my nephew took a CLOSE look at tires ( they were wearing fine ). Turned out the belts were separating inside left front tire. They were Kumhos . Just a freak manufacturing defect I guess.
Just one more thing you might check if you haven't already.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
A) They automatically assume you are a retard, and don't listen to anything you say.
B) They always use an impact gun to remove the lugs and end up chipping the hell out of your wheels around the lugs
C) They typically just zip the lug nuts back on to like 450 ft-lbs with an impact gun, so you can never get them off, and chip the lug holes in the wheels even more.
D) Any time you get a tire mounted, you are almost guaranteed that they end up gouging one of the wheels with the tire mounting machine.
E) They all think it's ok to lift a corvette by the rockers. Yeah lifiting a 3200lb car by painted body panels is ok?
After I've had so many bad experiences, I always just take them the wheels and tires, and don't let them touch my car. At least that takes away half the risk.
I also fully inspect the wheels for damage and make sure they balanced them before I leave the store.
