Default 03 Z06 Suspension problem

Hello , I'm having trouble with my car swerwing to the sides even on smallest bumps on the road . Its coming from front . Front tires got some treads left on them . Did some research and lots of ppl say it's normal because of wide tires on these cars . Please let me know if it's normal or I might better take in and get it looked at . Thanks in advance

How many miles on the car and when was the last time that you had it properly 4 wheel aligned????

Youre problem is most likely shocks. After about 25K-30K miles the OEM C5 ZO6 shocks are shot and fail to adequately control tire to road contact.

Heres what I did for my 02 Z.

Contact www.gmpartshouse.com and get Gene or Patrick to ship you a set of C6 ZO6 Shocks. They are a DIRECT bolt in upgrade and you will be amazed with the improvement they will provide you. The best part, they are only $250. fro all four! Outstanding bang for the buck improvement!!!

IF,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, your car is significantly lowered, get the Bilstienes for lowered vehicles.

Have your car aligned and get some new tires!

I run the TOYO Proxies T1Rs on CCW 11.5" wide rims... Wide when everything is correct is OUTSTANDING!

While your upgrading, get some poly swaybar bushings and make sure that you swaybar metal endlinks are not damaged.

Most likely your lower control arm excentrics have slipped and are loose. Your alignment is changing every time you move the wheel. Get it aligned and make sure they gorilla torque the lower adjustment excentrics.
