Default LS3 Engine Swap Info

I'm gathering information on what would be necessary to swap a LS3 Crate Engine into a C5. So far this is what I've been able to find.

Throttle Body, GM 12570790
Throttle Body Adapter, Casper Electronics 108115
Fuel Injector Adapters, Casper Electronics 109077
Knock Sensor / Cam Sensor Harness, Casper Electronics 109081
MAP Sensor Harness Extension, Casper Electronics 109080

So the big question is about the Reluctor Wheel. I know many have used the adapter sold by Lingenfelter Performance. What parts would be needed to change the wheel instead of using the adapter?

I have the lingenfelter box for ls7 and it works flawless. Also may have different pilot bearing , the ls7 did.

Racetronix is a CF sponsor and no, I do not get anything from them. I use and like their products very much. Not China, made in Canada. Once you use their stuff you will too.

OP:

Which intake manifold will you be using? LS3 or FAST? How about fuel rail?

How about injectors? The LS3 injectors have two different sized o-rings.

Good call on the TB too btw:

I went through a lot of this when I did my swap except I didn't have to worry with the reluctor wheel aspect. Later on, I had a problem with a Casper's connector not being sealed and it almost left me stranded. Switched to Racetronix and have been happy ever since.

Btw, I'm not sure if Pete Incaudo is still porting TBs, but if he is, I'd highly recommend sending your new one to him. He IS the man when it comes to TB porting done correctly and he's a hell of a nice guy on top.

If he's not selling direct, contact: http://www.mikenorrismotorsports.com/

Mike sells Pete's TBs. It's worth it.
