I apologize for the TQ ? but without mixing words can someone tell me...Can I JUST buy a yank 3000 and have it installed and thats it???
I know alot get the gears done at the same time to save $$$ etc but is it necessary for me to buy them with the converter or can I just get the TQ and thats it and be done with it???
Im not lookin to hit the track or anything and on a somewhat budget. Just would like the light to light take off power so maybe that info helps for ya... :chevy
Yea looseness and just dropoff in performance..just want to leave the gears(id get them but to do all of this at once would drain my $$$) and just add the converter..im thinking Yank 3000. Also from what im reading recently on the subject of how much for the installation around 400-600 dollars is what I should expect..bout right???
Not sure but will the PCM need some type of re-program too?
PCM programming is not REQUIRED but it can help with perfecting shift points, etc. But by all means, you can just bolt a 3000 in and go. There is a slight chance you may pop a Slippage code once in awhile on the DIC without PCM programming, but we havent experienced this too much with any of our customers.
Let me know if you decide on a YANK and need pricing.
