Default Need assistance

I have a 2004 C5 Convertible, my wife adjusted the driver's seat forward all of a sudden the seat stopped moving, the windows will not operate, the key fob doesn't do anything. The engine was cold but the guages show 260 degree temperature, fuel is empty, oil pressure is 0, battery is at 13.3 volts. All codes state no Comm, which means no communication with the computers. The read out states reduced engine power, low fuel, check tire pressure, service engine soon. It does this both with the engine running or just the key on.
Where and what would you start checking?

Had him disconnect the Serial data buss STAR connector for the LDCM, RDCM and SCM.. He regained all the serial data and use of all the other modules. The seat still didnt move and he had no LUMBAR control. Checked seat control Module L mini fuse. Fuse was BLOWN and blew immediately upon inserting in a new fuse. My guess is that there is a short in the Seat Power plug OR in the seat control relay center or Lumbar support control module. Check the seat connector first!!

He will be popping out the accordion tubes and checking for bent/spread/ danaged pins.

WOW,,, BRAIN STORM!!!

You have a SHORT in the SEAT CONTROL CIRCUIT!

Bet you a cold one that the wiring in /at the seat control connector is badly damaged!!!

If you plug that STAR connector back in, you will most likely have weird and strange gage readings and messages again!!! Leave that disconnected for now. Work on getting the seat to work properly and then reconnect the STAR CONNECTOR!

I would like to thank Bill Curlee for his assistance and guidance in fixing my problem. I removed the seat and found the bundle of wires that go to the blue and black wire connecters caught in the U shaped cutout in the flat metal that is part of the assembly that raises the seat. The insulation was cut and consequently shorted to ground. Taped and rerouted this bundle of wires and everything works as it should. Again thanks Bill.
