Default Will LS7 lifters hold up

Will LS7 lifters hold up on a .630 lift cam or is there a better option?

One of the design parameters of the Morel lifters was the ability to handle higher lift without oiling issues. I would personally look at Morel lifters for this application. There are many of other improvements as well, this is just one.

I wouldn't be reving mine above 6500. I don't race it so maybe this is the way to go. I would hate to spend allot extra for the morels if the LS7 lifters would a reliable option.

Been running LS 7 lifters on more than .651 intake/.661 exhaust, shifting at 7,000 rpm, no problems. I do have a melling high pressure oil pump.

Best to call a speed shop and ask them. Most vendors are aware of these questions and are reliable for the best answers.

I run the Caddy Racing lifters with a 610 lift and run pretty hard to 6850 rpm. ZERO issues (knock on wood) I also have the melling high pressure pump.

My buddy warlock007 switched to a set of linked lifters and is very happy with them. I forget who makes them.

My LS7 lifters did not make it but about 100 miles - but believe it is just a mix of a moronic engine builder and a factory defect.

I am upgrading to Lunati lifters just to be sure. They have the crossbar between them (linked lifters as said above). They are $375 at Summit.
