base c6 diff to c5?

Default base c6 diff to c5?
will a 2005 c6 diff bolt into 99 frc ?

Not sure of the answer, but the 2005 differential was the weakest of the C6 units. If you plan on this swap, I would go with a later model year.

The diffs have a different case design and do not bolt up the same. Internal parts can be used such as the stronger output shafts.
