I don't think so. Probably cam, heads and header package at around 400 hp.
There is no reason yet to replace it yet other than the dampener is OEM and just does not look good, paint is peeling due to corrosion. I assumed if you are replacing the dampener you would pin it as part of the installation procedure.

You may need a new power steering pulley. I swapped out the solid plastic one for the newer metal one where you can get back to the pump without pulling it off first. I think there is also another plastic version with a hole or 2 in it for the same reason.
When you replace the dampener, there are several things that you should consider:
- Use an ARP Damper bolt. Its reuseable and the torque process is SIMPLE 240 ft/lbs and you are DONE!
The OEM bolt is a ONE TIME USE BOLT and requires a very specific critical torque procedure!
- Replace the OIL PUMP with a melling high Volume pump.
- Replace the timing chain with a LS2 chain.
Dont know what year C5 you have but, when you open up the timing chain cover, you may have drilled holes for a LS6 style timing chain dampener. If you do, I would purchase and install one!
