Reduced Engine Power, Shocks Inop, etc.
I went to a friend's house last night, I got in the car after an hour or so to head back home and the dash lit up like a Christmas tree and it's giving me several messages. Also, my oil pressure, temp and fuel gauges are not working, they are pegged on their respective red zones.
Yes, I searched. Yes, I am familiar with the excellent Bill Curlee thread, and I even found the exposed wire in my driver's door....I just realized I didn't check passenger door, but I digress...
The problem is that I went to clear my codes and every computer is indicating No Comm.
Last week I fixed the EBCM (re-soldered the relay, and a couple of other spots) and in the process I checked the two grounds in the engine compartment, but they were essentially spotless. I did not check those other grounds, I will if necessary. The car has low miles (70k now) and has usually been garaged.
Help?

However,,,,,,,,,, If you disconnect the door connectors, you will find that the FEMALE PINS spread apart and cause a poor intermittent connection. That causes a corrupt serial data line and everything goes crazy.
OR you have a wet damp BCM. Check the BCM and the carpet underlayment for water/dampness. If the BCM gets the least bit wet everything goes NUTS.

I had the same warnings and issues with the gauges, first time it happened it was at ~150 mph, scary as hell to look at your oil pressure at that speed and see it at 0 PSI.
Read about it here and did the liquid tape on the exposed wire on the door, no issues since. Glad to learn it's actually the connector if the problem comes back.

If anybody sees this...here's a tip- If you pull the connector apart, then pull that little blue plastic piece, you can get behind the female part with a small screwdriver and bend it out. I hope that makes sense. If you look at it, you will understand.
