Default Wiper cam

my windshield wipers have been stuck straight up on my windshield.after some searching and I checked my udders and they were a little clogged but there wasn't any standing water. I went ahead and replaced the motor and I'm having the same problem. After some investigation I discovered there is a little lever under the cam that isn't catching on the stop to push the wipers down into the park position. Now I need to figure out what part to order to fix this sucker. Oh how fun this is...

Thanks for that Bill. Looks like that will be the next item of business for the vette. I found this picture on here and studying it shows me that the parking pawl is the piece now that isn't working right. Had I seen this pic before changing the motor it would have saved me two hours and about 60 bucks

In reality it would be nice if I could figure out a way to fix just the parking pawl since that's the only problem. I just don't have a reference for how it pushes out to press against the stop.

That's a great thread. Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to just have to replace the transmission. The parking pawl is free swinging and won't mate up with the parking stop and I have no reference on how to fix it, if that's even possible.
