Hi Bill C, Thanks for taking the time to drag out and photo the system,Only the first image loaded but that is what i bought.Thats what mine look like but were not even driven enuff to turn blue.I tell ya its just weird ,Wish I knew the truth behind these pipes, whatever, I will figure something out and send a pic before and after And explanation of fix.Right now where i am it is getting very cold so don't know if i'll fix this before spring. I will however rebuild my tpms over the winter. Thanks again. wl
I just pulled up the post from home (made it at work) and I can see All the pictures.
Please re-read the post and see if the rest of the pics show up.
. Where are you located?
Its cold here in CT also but, I still drive my car!!
If you take PHOTOS of how the system isn't fitting,,, maybe we can make suggestions on a solution.
Bill c,Im in NJ I would still be driving if could make it work, will try to get out the camera and take some pics this weekend.Just checked your post again and all the pics did show up!??? can't see anything different.
thanks for quick reply racebum, mine are 2'' on 1 side and 3/4'' other side really looks stoopid. I am considering filing holes to twist one side, think it will work.a few degrees at the FLANGE... may translate to a few inches at the rear....I think....I hope!
Did you have an aftermarket x pipe installed perviously?

The only Titanium in the exhaust on a ZO6 is the Ti mufflers and piping that goes over the CV joint shafts. The remainder of the Exhaust is the SAME as all other C5's.
This is all Ti
All the other C5 Mid-pipes are the same length (when used with the exhaust manifolds that they were designed to connect to) and end with the same flanges that you are trying to connect to.
Compare your OLD muffler system to the Ti muffler system for length and where the bracket that sticks into the rubber mount ends.

WELL ,Thanks to mr Bill C and all the other vette guys who gave me helpful hints. Finally found the time to get under the vette. Carbide bits and high speed grinder took care of alignment problem.Did tear up some bits though, settled on 1.5'' for both sides .perfectly level, just took about 4 hrs worth of messing around. Will send some pics if someone can explain how.Mr Bill?
