Default 12V hot source location for gauge connection ?

Silly question but after poking around in the engine compartment of my 2004 Z06 I have not yet found a practical 12V hot source location for gauge wire connection. I am installing electric fuel pressure gauge.

Any recommendations?

Dang I just did this a few months ago.

I do know that a lot of the wiring colors changed around 2001.

I want to say it was a thin blue wire. But it took me A LONG time to find a switched 12+ wire under the dash.

Not sure about the 2004, but most years have both switched and constant hot leads located near the passenger side footwell fuse panel.

2004 does NOT have the aux electrical connections in the passengers foot well like the 97-2003 C5s did.

If you look at the C5 ignition switch you will find an unused SWITCHED contact.

It can be used.
