with the mods you listed you wont gain much if anything, maybe mix a galon of 104 per tank of 91, then take the mony you save and build a stroker

Re: 100, 104, 110 Octane gas! (NYtoCA)
California's 91 octane sucks. Mixing the 91 octane with whatever gallons it takes of 100, 104 or 110 to get you at 93 octane should make a difference and get rid of the pinging with this lousy 91 octane.
What were the costs of the 100, 104 and 110 octane gas? I paid $7 per gallon of 100 octane a couple of weeks ago...won't be doing that again very soon.

My cars does not having a pinging problem, but at WOT, the car detonates or slightly misfires a couple of times in hot weather.
I purchased some 100 Octane today at $5.50 a gallon. I plan to use it at dyno day and the strip. I will add it to a little less than a 1/4 of a tank, that should equal 95-96 Octane!
a quickie in Octane (again!):
you will not gain performance by using high octane fuels if your motor does not warrant it. In fact, you can hurt performance. High octane has a much different burn rate than pump gas. Know this alone will be very helpful. If you are sure you are experiencing Pinging and subsequent KR by the puter, mix in octane until the pinging is remedied. this may happen at 94 octane, 96, whatever. Then keep this mixture. NOTE: pinging in an otherwise stock motor is usually indicative of a problem. could simply be poopietty gas, could be something wrong with programming, carbon deposits, etc.
You dont need anything other than pump gas if your under 500 HP unless your getting knock. If your getting knock under 500 HP then there probably is somthing else causing it other than the pump gas. The 100 octane is the only one you want to mix because its unleaded the others are leaded fuels and will fry the cats.
I run Sunoco 93 thinking everything was fine until I did Dyno run yesterday. Showed dip in curve at 5000 RPM. I don't think you can always here pre-detonation. Will send PCM back to Ed to take some timing back out. Hopefully this fixes problem, If not I might try some of the Good Gas! :reddevil
I just found a gas station here in San Diego that offers these 3 different octanes.
Is it bad to fuel up on this good stuff or should i mix it with 91 octane?
Are you sure all 3 of those are unleaded? Mixing enough 100 to get you to 93 or 94 may make a difference but after that I would guess you would just be throwing your money away.
