crazy gauges?
01 c5 vert,crank up fine drive down road ,hear a ding ding,check gauges light is on and gauges are pegged out!! pulled over turnd off crank up gauges fine,until about 5 min and does it again,car is running fine tho while this is happening! any ideas,pleas chime in!thanks

Sounds like the problems Bill Curlee has described with ignition switch problems. Crazy, erratic gauges is one of the symptoms. Did you look at your codes to see if anything was there? If so, post the codes and we'll get started on this. If not, then clear your codes, do some driving and read the codes immediately after it occurs. Many threads/examples on how to read the codes on the DIC.
