Default Getting a code with my headers

Hi,

I have FLP long tube headers and am sporadically getting the code
P0430 H C

Has anyone else with these headers received this code? I think it may be a bad O2 sensor.

Any input would be appreciated.

Does the car still run ok. I got the FLPs but im not done installing them. My rear O2s are hooked up but not in a pipe and it makes the car run like crap. Your code is TWC system Low efficiency bank 2-a. Sounds like some sort of O2 problem.

kh24, install the O2's in the bungs, regardless. You'll have an exhaust leak with them not installed. I ran my O2's in the bungs with no cats, just the ORPs installed. I got codes but deleted them with LS1Edit. If you don't have LS1Edit, use the O2Simms. If you're leary of putting the O2's in the bungs at least plug the bungs with some Ford, 18MM spark plugs.

rschiltz, that code is:
Catalyst System Low Efficiency Bank 2
Your O2 is bad or you have the ORPs on with no O2Simms :)

Thanks for the replies. I do think I may have a faulty O2 sensor. The car runs fine and like I said, the code is intermitten.

rschiltz, your car will run fine. You'll just get that annoying engine light.
JPR racing has a buttload of used but perfectly functioning O2 sensors if you need some. Let me know.

Thanks Levi. I'm going to keep my eye on it, but if it keeps acting up, will send you an IM about getting a used sensor.
