Does anyone know the diameter of the stock needed to modify the thermostat opening temperature?

RPOZ4Z, If .101 is the diameter, what is the thickness? I am looking for this value too.

Wow, this is the first time I've been automatically censored!
Oh well, try this and remove the spaces. Regardless of the censoring, it's a good how-to:

Re: thermo shim (RPOZ4Z)
.101 is the thickness. Would like to know the diameter. This link gives instructions on making the shim, but doesn't give the shim diameter. I would like to make a shim before I take off the thermostat.

Re: thermo shim (RPOZ4Z)
There is a link in my post to the instructions. Don't see the stat shaft diameter.

Re: thermo shim (RPOZ4Z)
Per my 2:35pm post. It would by nice to have the shim made ahead of time. Would save having to find the right stock after removing the stat.

Found it. The shim diameter is 3/16.
