Default EE catch can question

Just installed a elite engineering catch on my z last week. I have ran this same catch can on other vehicles I have owned. Are you c5 z guys use the stock check valve with the new lines? Reason is I have never seen this much oil in a catch cam so quickly. I literally had the can a quarter of the way full after one might of spirited driving. Kinds worried me. I have it hooked right with the valley cover port going to the top of catch can and the bottom of the catch can going to the manifold. My idle is also acting up little like a vacuum leak. Any help is greatly appreciated

Yes, using the stock PCV valve with the catch can. Is your Zee supercharged as your handle indicates?

Which line to I put the check valve on? Most likely the one coming from the valley cover ?

It's best to put it between the catch can and the intake manifold, as that like shouldn't have a much oil in it if the catch-can is doing its job.

If you are using boost and not using the check valve, then if the crankcase sees any pressure build-up from ring blow-by then there will a lot more crankcase flow and oil in the catch-can.
