Default dealer codes/vacuum hoses

Hi Guys,

I am considering this 2000 FRC with 15k miles on it fully loaded....the guy claims it was never raced and owns it since January.....says he is selling it due to herniated discs in back......My 2000 I got new was a lemon and trying to avoid getting another.....I asked the guy what had been done and he said just a battery since the car sat.....I ran the VIN with a dealer and this is what it came up with:

J6980-vacuum hose rep/rpl - 14,594 miles
N4010-Cig Lighter rpl - 14,269
D1700-Harness,Vacuum hose R&R/RPL - 14,269
N0110-Battery Replace One - 14,269
N0120-Battery Cables RPL - 14,269
E0720-FT RT SNSR, TR PRSUR - 13,099
E0420 - Wheel & Or Tire RPL - 13,084

I questioned the guy and said that the tire was loosing air and turned out to be the rim was defective so it was replaced under warranty......Carfax comes up clean and I figure if the guy hit something the warranty wouldnt replace rim it would be insurance right????

Anyone know what these codes are(really just the hoses) I am concerned that maybe a hose blew from a track run?

Other than carfax and dealer run on the VIN what else could I do to avoid getting a lemon/abused car???? He says I can have dealer check it out as well! I guess I would have been more at ease if he told me about the other stuff from the beginning instead of just saying battery was replaced and nothing else.

Words of wisdom???? He trailers around an Impala he races so racing this isnt too far off...anyway to find out????

Should this deter me from buying it?

Thanks guys I appreciate any advice!

Marc

Not much to be concerned about there...Looks like a wheel was replaced under warranty and a low tire sensor replaced shortly after (they probably damadged the sensor when dismounting the original wheel)...The battery was probably leaking acid, and a corroded battery cable (from acid) replaced at the same time. The vacuum hoses route under the battery and probably had to be repaired also due to battery acid :yesnod:

Is this something to be concerned about? Isnt the PCM under the battery as well?

As C-5 Tech says, probably nothing to be worried about. Everything looks consistant and is very reasonably explained. Go for it unless you are trying to talk YOURSELF out of the car.......
I could see having doubt if it had been taken in for things like excessive oil consumption, leaking transmission, etc. FOr the most part the things listed are minor and easily justified.
