cross threaded bolt help

Default cross threaded bolt help
got careless and cross threaded one of the bolts for the inner door panel on my 97, its one of two behind the door pull handle. now the nut has broke loose from the inner door frame, how do I fix it?

Get another nut and weld/epoxy it back on the frame. Or just get creative, what's the worst that can happen?

This is what I would suggest. JB Weld is what I'd try first as that nut does not have much pressure on it.

good idea, with the JB weld, I should be able to drill off the head of the bolt since it is now locked in the nut and they both turn, then will jb weld a new nut and see what happens.

Could always tack weld a nut on. The one good nut and bolt will probably be enough to be honest, I wouldn't pull real hard on the door tho.
