I recently did the "Sliding seat fix" and found that one of my seats is missing the clip and pin that secures this clevis to the torque arm. (see the attached photo)
Does anyone know where I can source the clip that goes between the clevis arms and the pin? As an interim fix I installed a shoulder bolt and a self locking nut, but I'd rather have the correct hardware and clip installed.
I think better off with nut and bolt than pin. My turn buckle broke, due to twisting, and was replaced, big pia. Bolt & lock nut, no pin. There is no clip, the pin is pressed into the plastic and held in by the grooves in the pin, eventually the torque works the pin loose and if not caught in time will break the plastic turn buckle. All my pins are gone.
