1st to 4th shift
I'm new to this forum and this has probably been posted before, but is there a way to bypass the 1st to 4th shift thing? When I have that come up on me now, I'm pausing during the shift and putting it in third or just starting up in second gear. It just pulls it down too far to go from first gear all the way into fourth.

Several vendors offer a bypass that you can plug into the wiring that will defeat the CAGS. The light will still come on, but the solenoid that operates a gate in the transmission will be disabled. Viola, 1st to 2nd all the time.
