Data logging?
On another thread where someone hears detonation at WOT, it was recommended to to scan, and data log.
Is this with a HP Tuner, or?
What all can data logging tell someone?
I googled "data logging LS1" and saw HP Tuners.
Is scanning the same as data logging?

Depends on the scanner. Basic scanners only show DTC codes and maybe I/M monitors, the intermediate ones can show realtime data, the better ones can LOG the data for replay.

I also have Autoenginuity on my laptop, much more extensive and you have 2 way communications with the car to test things and graph/log data.
