Need instructions for the DTE Diff Brace
Recently purchased a new DTE strut brace for my C5. The instruction sheet was ruined by urine. Yes, urine!?!?!?! The top of the box got pissed on. Either before or during shipping! The instructions were packed on top and took the grunt of the seeping. All the parts and hardware had to be washed and still stink! lol
Oh well. I tried searching for the instructions and had no luck. I also don't see anything on their site. In fact, their site sucks ***.
Anyway, does anyone have them and could you email them to me or post up here??? There is lots of hardware (nuts & bolts/spacers)

I installed one on mine last year. The trans and diff were out of the car. I didn't have the instructions either. I just dug around on the internet until I found some good pics and info. Did you try YouTube?

They used to be downloadable from their web site, have you checked there. You may need to dig around a bit to find them.
Interesting, I did a bit of searching and the only thing I come up with are driveshafts. Are they out of the differential rebuild market?

Oh, and I'm not running the DTE version - I have the ECS brace I'll be installing soon. I had a DTE but went with an ECS on htis build.

Nice. I actually like the ECS brace better, just got too good of a deal on this one. I will pm you right now. BTW, got a wild hair and tore out the interior and started doing the sound deadening and component mounting. These cars look crazy low with the interior out! You really see how close to the ground the floor pan is!

Sometimes wish I would have gone into automotive design instead of medical when I do projects like that.I did this mod to the wife's C5 and insulated the heck out of that one.
