Torque Wrench to Cover LS6 Build
Specifically it is the Precision Instruments C2FR600H which handles 100-600 lb.in or approx 8-50lb.ft. Link: http://www.torqwrench.com/tools/item...kCode=C2FR600H
Another option may be the Gearwrench 85052 micrometer type which handles 10-100 lb.ft. Link:http://www.tooltopia.com/gearwrench-85052.aspx however I am not familiar with the Gearwrench brand and whether or not they are reliable for an engine build.
Any input would be much appreciated.

I used to work where there was a "precision assembly" department, and there was a torque wrench calibrator on the premises. One day I brought all of my wrenches into work, and one of the guys in this area tested them for me. Surprisingly, they all were pretty accurate.

You will most likely need THREE torque wrenches.
One Inch Pound torque wrench 0-300 in/lb
One 0-150 ft/lb or a 0-100 ft/lb torque wrench
and one that can handle 250 ft/lbs
I have always rented the larger ft/lb wrench from Autozone (if you return it on their loan program, it cost you nothing) There are only a few things that need to over 100 ft/lbs on the entire car!
If you try to use a 0-250 ft/lb torque wrench to tighten a 28 ft/lb bolt, it for one, will be 1/2 drive and two, may not be as accurate as a 0-100 or 0-150 ft/lb wrench would be.
I have a 3/8" drive Snap On 0-100 ft/lb click torque wrench that works excllent.
I also have a 1/4" drive Snap On dial 0-300 inch pound and a 3/8" drive 0-600 inch pound click torque wrench.
I purchased all my snap on torque wrenches used and they are in excellent condition and accurate.

Bill you dead on and the reason you list are spot on I bought the Snap on Torque wrenches as they also do angle as you will find that some of the call outs are Torque to 45 ft lbs then go another 90 degs. And the Snap on torque wrenches will do this.

Good advice.
