Wiring help? Is this a ground?
Hey guys, I am installing a new motor in my car, and have a question seeing I seem to have forgot after 2 months, lol.
On the passenger side, I have a small black wire with a white strip on it, it will fit the hot post on the starter, but I think it may be a ground.
I have 3 wires for sure that go to the hot post on the starter, a ground from the battery, and this black with white stripe that I am not sure about.

Look on page 6 of this forum for a post on interior lights flashing and Bill Curlee has a reply to the OP with a picture of starter wiring and there is a black with white stripe wire going to ground on the block just beside the starter. Check it out it could help.

Here is what he is talking about. A Black or Black and White wire is a ground wire.
