So recently in the past month iv been having some issues with the traction control and abs on by car. All i have is the twin air, corsa cat back and diablo predator.
At first the abs would just kick on for no reason in traffic. I did some research and read maybe get on it a little and really use the abs trying to get it to activate i did that it was a little fun but did nothing lol.
Then this past weekend the really bad thing occurred, i was pulling out of a parking lot just normal and the traction control kicked in and went nuts i couldn't drive the car i quickly thought to push the button to turn it off and it worked fine then both the abs light and traction light came on.
Now each day once the car is warmed up they both come on and i'm getting 3 messages across the screen. I plugged in the diablo to try and read some codes and it said there are none? im lost.
I have an 01 suburban and when the abs started acting up i just pulled the fuse and the truck works great i was wondering if i could do the same with the vette? its only driven in good weather and a little rain but i can be careful and just not get on it since the part for the suburban was like $1400 plus install im assuming this will be the same lol

Here is how to read the codes and the attached pdf file explains alot more
Entering On-Board Diagnostics
To enter the Diagnostic Display function perform the following steps:
1. Turn ON the ignition switch, with the engine OFF.
2. Press the RESET button to acknowledge any warning messages present.
3. Press the OPTIONS button on the Driver Information Center (DIC) and hold.
4. While holding the OPTIONS button press the FUEL button 4 times within a 5 second period.
5. System will first enter automatic display mode followed by the manual display mode.
Wow! Thanks! that's the coolest thing i think i'v ever seen!
I'll get out and read all the codes and post them up by tomorrow at the latest.
Now I'm kinda nervous lol I'm sure I'm going to find a little more wrong with the car than i barraged for lol
That seams easy enough, i wont be able to jack it up till this weekend it don't have anything at my condo :/
But i will pull the codes again after the car has been running and before i shut it off and re post those tomorrow if there are more.
Thanks for all of your help!!!
Good news, same code came up even with the car running and all the lights on, just a C added to the end of it, hopefully this weekend I can get in there and clean it up
