I am working in the installation of an oil pressure relocation kit. Does the fitting that installs in place of the oil pressure sensor require teflon tape or does it just rely on the gasket they come with?
Also, is replacement of the sensor described in the GM service manual? If so, I would appreciate some guidance on how to find the procedure .

That fitting is a straight thread, not pipe (tapered) thread. Use the crush washer. No Teflon tape. Btw, the procedure is in the FSM. Be careful on your torque values. I don't recall it at the moment. It MAY be inch pounds.
