I thought about sending it away to a vette shop but I've taken this damn thing apart so many times now that it's personal, I can't let this car beat me. Does the shop know for certain it's the clutch? Or are they going to do some troubleshooting for you?

Any benefit in going with arp hardware over regular gm stuff? This is for the pressure plate and flywheel.

Default Imput shaft

Check the straightness of the splined imput shaft. It may be hanging up on the pilot bearing causing the drive shft to spin. I tried Arp fasteners on my monster stage 2. They were so tight going in I thought I would strip the threads in my fly wheel. Went back to GM bolts.

Thanks for the help guys, I went ahead starting pulling the old clutch to put in the new one and springs from the clutch disk started falling out. Guess I found the main problem. Looks like one set of springs fell out and started tearing up the others. No damage to the flywheel though.

cars back up and running but I got a side question would it be worth it to have the lightweight flywheel turned and try to sell it? what would I have to do to ensure it is reusable?
