Default connector identification help

Hello,

Hopefully someone can shine some light for me here. I bought a "vette in the box" as I've come to call it and need help with a connector I can't figure out. I didn't not pull the car apart so I'm not sure where this goes. It look like a temp sensor plug of some sort. It is located on the driver side of the engine harness near the o2 sensor wiring. It has a ground wire in the loom as well. The wire colors are black and green with a white stripe. Any help is appreciated

The connectors at the back of the motor are oil pressure sensor, map sensor or cam shaft position sensor. Could it be one of those? But can't tell what it's for from the pic and description.

Sorry figured most of these had the same harness. It is a 01 c5z. It is not oil pressure, map, or cam.

Ground is G-105 and goes on the drivers side bolt on the block near (above) the oil filter housing and a guess on the connector is: ( Oil TEMP Sensor) on the housing for the oil filter)

I dont have accces to my schematics to check for sure/

I was thinking this as well but some reading was telling me that my oil temp sensor is built into the level sensor in the pan. I have no idea though as I'm new to these cars.

NOPE! I know for a fact that that is not true... I have a level sensor sitting on front of me and it only has TWO wires inside the connector.

There IS however a temp sensor on the oil filter housing. I just cant tell you what color the wires are.

Bill is correct. That is G105 and the oil temp sensor connector. Sensor is on the filter housing. Ground bolt is above it.
