98 exhaust tips..
Yes I know, It's a tacky question...
The older c5's (mines an early 98) do not have chrome exhaust tips,
Are there chrome ones that will fit over the oval black ones without cutting em' off?

The early C5 exhaust tips, along with the wagon wheels were the most hated part of my 98 coupe.
I wanted new wheels and had some planned but sold the car.
I did replace the Cadillac looking UGLY tips with a complete C5 ZO6 Ti set of mufflers. The look excellent, flow better and are lighter. Didn't do too much for the sound on a stock LS1 engine but, I got rid of BUTT UGGGGGLY exhaust tips!

with Bill Curlee, look for a set of ZO-6 cat backs, and don't waste time putting lipstick on a pig... (okay they're definitely not a pig, but you get the meaning.)The price on a nice set of ZO-6 pipes has dropped significantly. Probably not much more than a good set of tips.
