Rear Compartment ( Trunk ) latch
Recently I began having a problem closing the trunk on my vert. The latch will occasionally not grab and requires several attempts - just short of slamming it before it will latch. This started only in the last 2 months and does not occur on a regular basis. Previously all that was required was a slight push on the lid to latch.
( When I open it I can hear when it does fully release as there is a distinctive click).
I hesitate to return it to the dealer for this and assume it may be an adjustment. I have the Service Manual but it is non-specific and I hate to pump WD-40 or grease into it unless necessary.
Has anyone experienced this?
