Hey guys, I've already searched extensively and heard murmurs about how you can jump two wires and manually activate the ABS pump (to cycle the brake fluid inside the pump, to do a full brake bleed without Tech 2..)
yes i know you can activate it by stomping on your ABS system but I'm looking for a bit less of a cave man approach.
Can anyone provide more info or insight on that?
Car is an 2002 and I recently replaced the ECBM so I want to make sure fluid is fresh fresh fresh!!

You can jumper power to the pump to exercise it but I was told it will not move fluid in the system since the solenoids are not being activated.
Some people just jack up the rear and get the car up to about 9 mph and the ABS will be activated since the front wheels are not moving. If I did that I would remove the rear wheels but many people do not.
I just like to hard brake to exercise an ABS. If you drive your car in the rain then go to a large parking lot and do it with the pavement wet.
I agree with what dadaroo posted. Just running the motor is fairly useless. Next best to a TechII would be to jack up the rear and run it in gear. Open the rear bleeders and let the pump push some of the fluid out if you want to do even more. Of course, be careful around those spinning hubs and rotors if you're doing that.
Doing that may clear air out of the rear plumbing of the BPMV but not out of the front. Running the car in gear with the wheels up in the air will activate TC not ABS. Other than using the Tech 2 to activate the valves and pump while bleeding the brakes there is no sure way to completely get air or old fluid out of the BPMV.
