I am new at this when pulling codes if the number has an H after it does that mean history? And if so does that mean someone previously fixed it and not to worry about it?
A history (H) DTC is stored after a DTC was once present, but is no longer active or current.
It doesn't always mean that the problem has been repaired though. It just shows that there was an active, or current (C), DTC in the recent past which hasn't been cleared from memory yet.
If your having issues clear all the codes and go for a cruise. When you return check for codes before shutting the car off to see what has come back and is current.

Some codes go to history as soon as you turn the car off. This does not mean the problem has been fixed. History codes are an important part of the diagnosis.
