Pulling the PCM
I have to pull the PCM out of my 01 to ship it to LPE (supercharger programming). Other than the obvious 'don't drop it, pack it good, insure it' type issues, is there anything else I should be careful of? I read in the service manual that the PCM stores crankshaft position information. I assume that as long at the crank doesn't move while the PCM is out, I shouldn't have any problems. Anyone know for sure? Any other warnings?
